Character Name: Veritas Solaris
Alias: Data Sage
Gender: Male
Age: Mid Twenties
Species: Civ
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Appearance:
Faction: Unaffiliated
Personality: Cold, Veritas prefers not to show his emotions to anyone he is around, and is an expert at burying them. Like his father, he possesses a love of machinery and innovation that pushes him to build new devices. Some might even say it is an "obsession" but it isn't. Veritas also has a strong sense of justice, even if he doesn't consider himself a hero of any variety, whatsoever because of his life choices. Veritas is a stronger believer in revenge, and is not afraid to get that on anyone who he believes has crossed him. He is also a schemer, and a plotter. Willing to put aside revenge for long periods of time, Veritas prefers to let his opponents underestimate him and believe that he will let them be, but then strike ruthlessly when they least expect him to do so.
History:
The original Data Sage was a powerful hero, assisted by his wife "Empathy" when they had teamed up. When the original Data Sage grew too old to continue the path of heroism he decided to begin working on equipment that would allow anyone to become super. The device was unfinished, when a couple of assassins hit him and his wife, stealing the original device from the young son of his, Veritas. Condemned to live in an orphanage, Veritas ran away from the orphanage where he had been staying and eventually learned how to survive on his own. Knowing he couldn't do the same powers as his mother, Veritas performed some experiments of his own upon his own brain, pushing it beyond the limitations of what a normal human could be. Over the years, as he watched the abuse of the technology his father had made grow and grow, Veritas got pushed to the point where he could no longer take it. Finally becoming twenty two, he decided he'd pick up the costume of his dad and avenge such, but he couldn't do it as the hero his dad once was, so he decided to take a villainous path in order to do it properly.

- Cold Fury: While he may not be emotional, he has a cold rage that is constantly building inside himself and could be dangerous to both himself, and others should he let it out.
- Hatred: Veritas hates the so called "Freaks" and would never rely on them for anything, even if he needed their help.

- Neural Inhibitors: Those with abilities that could dampen his intellect could cause Veritas to be unable to build complex devices, or use his abilities.
- Pheromones: Due to constantly suppressing his emotions, Veritas is exceptionally vulnerable to pheromones.
- Telepathic Assaults: Telepathic Assaults could be potentially crippling to him without his gadgets handy.
- Durability: Without his armor, or tools that he uses, Veritas could be vulnerable to amounts of damage. In addition, he does not heal as fast as most supers, so any damage such as say ripping off a limb could take him out of play for a while.
