Alcyone's Return
Event Details: Due to the yearly return of the Goddess Alcyone every winter to nest herself in a tree blessed and true, she has decided that this year's tree will be the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Square New York City. This time, all around her will temporarily feel blessed and mourn those who they had lost just as she did. A select few will receive her true power as a gift for their bearing her gifts of pleasure and peace, to appease the gods and mankind itself.

I know the update has been a little late but meh. I tried and the sickness hasn't been helpful. I hope the holidays treat thee well and I sure as hell hope the medicines will proceed with such on my behalf. Anyway...
Alcyone's Return
The cold breeze of New York city blows hard with a dangerous ferocity. The gusts picking up with a serious tone and the sound of sirens would alert everyone of the emergency broadcast about to play on the television and radios. The picture of a thick muscled young man in a deep coat doing a quick broadcast from Rockefeller Square. The large Christmas tree, having been put up early due to the recent incidents and to boost moral, holds a secret. Rested atop it's mighty branches sets a young raven bird, massive in size and curled up protecting a mildly large nest at the peak of the tree. Police have already surrounded the bird, and it's body seems normal, seldom the woman embedded into it's chest as clear as day, seemingly part of the feathers of the gigantic raven. Her arms reaching out into the wings of the bird, and her legs into the feet of the avian.
"Good morning America, this is Jackson Merrik of Channel Seventeen news, and it seems a shocking event has occurred here in the home state of New York City. For some unknown reason, here at Rockefeller Center, a gigantic super powered crow has built a nest atop the yearly Christmas tree. Authorities have already been called to hold back the situation, and it has been advised to ignore the area and evacuate the area within one hundred yar-" The man standing in front of the camera would say, before the bird's wings would bellow. It's beak would open into a screech, before the voice of a fair pitched young woman would speak.
"KAAAAAAWWWWWW. People of Earth, you've shown true passion for one another, but you have forgotten us. The mighty have fallen, but wish to be remembered. I call upon the people of Earth to grab forth my hand, and take up my challenge. Will you face us and show us who is the true power in this measly world?" It would say before everyone listening or watching would witness a portal open up in space-time with a woman's hand reaching out towards them, as if asking to be taken and guided.
So, Alcyone has requested you take on her whim and join a tournament. Will you take up her call?
(To join this event when it opens on November 30th-December 1st, post a paragraph or two below of your character being guided through space by the maiden to Rockefeller Square where the arena has been made above the area made of a nigh unbreakable material.)
